A Group in Snapfix is a collaborative workspace used to organise tasks, workflows, and communication within a shared team environment. Groups help ensure efficient task management by keeping the right people informed and allowing them to take action on relevant tasks.

What is a Group in Snapfix?

Each Group typically includes:

Admins & Users
- Admins: Can manage group settings, add or remove users, and configure roles and permissions.
- Users: Assigned users receive notifications and can interact with tasks within the group.
- Task Assignment: Users can be specifically assigned to tasks for clarity and accountability.
Tasks
- Groups can contain issues, maintenance work, or checklists assigned to the team.
Roles & Permissions
- Snapfix’s Advanced Permissions allow admins to control user access, including ‘Read-Only Users’ who can view but not modify tasks.

📌 Note: You must be an existing Group Admin to create a new group.

Steps to Create a Group in Snapfix

1. Log into Snapfix

Open the Snapfix app.
Navigate to the ‘Groups’ page or the Homepage.

2. Access the Group Creation Menu

Tap the blue ‘+’ icon in the top-right corner.
From the menu, select ‘Create a New Group’.

3. Name Your Group

You can either:
✅ Manually enter a custom Group name, OR
✅ Select a pre-defined Group template.

4. Create & Configure Your Group

Tap ‘Create Group’ to finalise the setup.
By default, you will be the Admin and the only member of the group.

5. Add Users to Your Group

Add team members and assign roles as needed.
