What is the QR Task Tracking Link feature?
This feature allows someone who submits a task using a Snapfix QR code to receive a link to track the progress of the issue they reported, without needing a Snapfix account.
How does it work?
When a QR code is scanned and a task is submitted:

A tracking link is generated for that task.

The user can view the link on the confirmation screen.

They can also enter their email address to receive the link by email.
Note: The Task link is a live snapshot of the task information including all updates since the task was created. It does not provide two way communication.
All task information as seen when in a task, is shared through the task link, including new messages, task assignee and task status.
Do users need a Snapfix account to view the task?
No. The tracking link allows them to view the task status without logging in.
How long does the tracking link remain active?
The link is valid for 1 year from the date the task is created.
Is this enabled automatically?
No. The feature must be enabled on your QR settings by Snapfix.
How do I enable it?
Please contact Snapfix Support, and we can enable this feature on your custom QR forms.
