Assign tasks: Auto Assign, Bulk Actions and Reset All

Auto Assign Tasks

Once your staff are on today's schedule, Auto Assign Tasks shares the day's tasks across them. You will see "Auto-Assign is Running", then either "All tasks assigned to staff" or "Some tasks are still unassigned. All staff are fully booked for today."

Move a few tasks: Bulk Actions

To move some tasks to another person, select them and use Bulk Actions. If some are already assigned, Snapfix asks you to confirm before it replaces the current assignees. Bulk Actions also work outside a task's scheduled time window, for example to set tasks red, yellow or green, or archive them.

Reset All

Reset All clears every assignment on the board. Snapfix asks "Reset All Assigned Tasks? This action cannot be undone."

Keep your manual changes

• Running Auto Assign Tasks again does not keep assignments you made by hand.
• Reset All clears them too.
• To change a few tasks after the morning assign, use Bulk Actions or reassign the task, rather than running Auto Assign again.
